Local news and events (not that we have many in our poor country) something that I hope will interest you all is a day in the life of living in Ghana. It is hard for people in the west to think of life without the comforts you are all accustomed to . Take simple things like watching TV. You take it for granted. The only TV I have seen is in a shop window in the Town. Other simple things like turning on a tap to get hot and cold running water. I walk for 15 minutes to get a bucket of cold water so I can carry it back to use a bathroom shared by the tenants just to have a wash or a bath. There are so many things that People in the west and other parts of the world have like video, DVD, players Ipods Xbox. We have none of these. So how about you kids home from school find you have No TV Xbox or any such thing. and no money to go out even for a coffee. Could you survive ? We do and we are happy.
